Could be a good app but tripit and Evernote don't seem to integrate. Just shows blank screen
While this app may provide base-level functionality, it lacks two features that make it useless to me. One is that trips cannot be shared across multiple devices and the other is that customized templates and activities don't seem to be available across different trips. For example, I have a smart watch that has a unique charger that I need to include as an "Essentials" item for all my trips. Unfortunately, I cannot: every time I use PackPoint I must manually add my smart watch charger again.
I'd really like to know why I paid for this app and the new one subs based is more updated. Just find it distasteful that you decomission the same app to put it out under the same name as a subs based.
No updates. Paid for Premium. Lagging year behind Beta both old.
Same issue with Tripit not syncing. Otherwise, good app, just not worth the upgrade.
Found the custom lists useful but couldn't sync to my TripIt account which uses Google sign-in.
This is odd. While you're regularly updating the free app, there is no update of the premium app for one year. Also no beta app for the premium one.
Probably the best packing app I've found since switching from Packing Pro on the iPhone. Trouble with most of these apps is that they come preconfigured with loads of categories filled with hundreds of items you'll never use, yet they can't be edited, on this they can, and with ease. New items and new categories can be added on the pro version too. Things that I think would maybe make it even better: Some more icons based around categories rather than activities (things like Documents, Finance, Gadgets / Tech etc, To Do (pre and post trip) ) and also the ability to be able to re-order the activities within the list or even within the category 'tree' so you can have things like 'To Do', 'Documents' & 'Finance', appear in the order they are likely to be important and even packed. If there is a way to re-order Activities in a list I haven't found it yet.
Not robust enough. Too much input required by user. Might as well use your own pen and paper to create a list.
It works fine and helps. The problems I found : items are in more than 1 category. If you select those, the items appear twice or more in the check list. An optional filter could solve the problem. The trip it reading for multiple city trips is not working. I did a trip to Buenos Aires including a trip to La Paz in autumn. The package came out very light for a city at 3500 m. It seems that it should read better the legs and staying times of each trip.
